Purbeck Target Sports in the Isle of Purbeck
The Purbeck Target Sports Club offers a wide range of indoor archery and indoor target shooting in our purpose built 20m indoor range and are a part of the Purbeck Gun Club, founded in 1977 by our chairman Graham Baume. The club currently has approximately 20 members from students to OAP's
The club caters for both compound and recurve bows, firearms, air-rifle and air-pistol shooters, target or good old fashion plinking. Spring, pre-charged and CO2 guns are catered for.
Target shooting with small-bore rifles, pistols and Air Guns on Fridays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and Sunday afternoons by prior arrangement for club members and FAC holders only.
The Archery shooting is held on Sunday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm approx during the winter months (contact us for dates).

Rifles & Pistols
Any Style of .22 calibre rimfire and centre fire underlever and carbine rifles and long barrel centre fire pistol up to the ranges power limits which are available upon request are allowed and any type of air weapon.
Ammunition
You can bring your own ammunition or purchase .22 rimfire, air gun pellets & CO2 cartridges at the club.
Archery
Three lanes are available for 10m, 18m and 20m indoor archery for recurve and compound bows. Club bows are available but breakages must be paid for.
Targets
The club supplies paper targets but you are welcome to bring your own paper targets, tin cans etc.
Metal airgun spinner targets and electric operated turning targets are also available.
Facilities
Our shooting range is a 20 meter indoor range which is floodlit. Shooting benches, hearing protection and chairs are provided.
Club Room
The club room allows members to chat, have a game of pool or enjoy a hot or cold drink within the club.
We have instant tea and coffee and cold drinks free of charge in the club room.
Food and other refreshments are available in the nearby holiday park complex.
Toilets are located in the holiday park complex.
