About the Purbeck Gun Club

The Purbeck Gun Club was founded in 1977 by our chairman Mr Graham Baume. The club started as a pistol shooting club and shared its range with the now defunct Swanage Rifle Club.
Following the handgun ban in 1997 many of the members moved to target shooting using .22 rimfire rifles and the club now offers competitions between the members for both rimfire and air rifle shooters.
Target shooting with small-bore rifles, pistols and Air Guns on Fridays from 7:30pm to 9:30pm for club members and FAC holders only.
Purbeck Airgun Club
The Purbeck Target Sports Airgun Club offers a wide range of indoor air rifle and air pistol target shooting in our purpose built 20m indoor range. The club caters for both air-rifle and air-pistol shooters, target or good old fashion plinking. Spring, pre-charged and CO2 guns are catered for.
Airgun Club shooting on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
We offer a range of membership options which are listed on our Membership page. We also have a list of useful links to shops and other related website's.
